Create a NEW Scene/Menu

command_adminCreate New Content, Organization Administrator

STEP 1)

Locate the “Default Home Scene” title with the HOUSE ICON next to the title at the bottom of the application window in the builder.

STEP 2)

Click the EDIT icon on the bottom right, which will always take you into the SCENE/MENU editor.

STEP 3)

At the top of your browser you will see “breadcrumbs” that display where you are in the navigation of building your app, in this case: Applications / Acme Industries – Trade Show – March / Default Home Scene. You can click any name in that list to return to previous menus in the builder at anytime.

Note: In this case, there are 3 asterisks next to the Default Home Scene*** title, that is a warning letting you know something has been changed on this menu and needs to be saved using the green save button in the top right corner before you exit that menu. Any time there is a change to your scene/menu, the asterisks will be updated, notifying you that there is a SAVE needed.

Scene/Menu Title: The title you give this scene/menu. Users DO NOT see the title, it is purely for Organization Admins to make sure they understand what things are called.

CSS Classes: CSS classes you can give to the full scene/menu. If you are not familiar with CSS, don’t worry, just leave it blank!!

In what tracks will this scene be used? Give your scene/menu a tag to remember the name and make it searchable from another level if you have a ton of menus that are really complicated.

STEP 4)

In the backgrounds tab, this is where you add your content for the background of your scene/menu. You will have previously have chosen which orientation you want your devices to display on the main application setup page. You can always go back and edit to include more orientations, it will just take a little more css to make it compliant and work how you want it to work.
