In creating a competitor comparison tool set for the first time Select Toolsets on the Left Side menu
As you can see already we have four existing comparison tool sets over here, but we’re going to create a new one. We’ll click comparison tool and we’ll give the new tool set a title.
After that will select the title tab and the dropdown and show what the title will look like on the card. On the mobile side will select the subtitle in this case manufacturer and the third portion, the section will be the product type.
And all we’re showing here is how it will appear on the mobile side. Then we can select a section, color text, color, background color, product, background color, how it will look on mobile and tablet.
Once we have done that, we can select the unit type, imperial or metric. In this case, we’re going to choose metric for the base unit type and then we can start adding our required categories.
Will select the initial unit type and then select the converted imperial version of that unit or add a new category.
And as you can see, we have text category where this will be a category where you can add just text based information in there to compare, let’s say, engines or other options that are available to a machine or a product and then we have the category with unit, which would be the type of comparison
in links height with other dimensional items.
So we have selected a category with unit and we’ll add the specific units of measure for that and we’ll continue to add more categories to finish and complete the categories that we need and this competitor comparison tool set.
And once we’ve added all of our fields, we’ll click export CSP, which will download a CSP with all of those categories in a spreadsheet view. As you can see here now, the deal with this is once you export the CSV, those components and those categories are all locked the name of the comparison tool that is locked as well as the categories.
